For the people that got confused by the story (same thing happened to me so i dropped it and came back a year later) i think after breaking the tower he got sent to the underworld, where people that die reside. They are bassically people from the main game and since they have the system they see each other as humans. But out mc that has forced his way here instead of dying sees them for what theh really are
