I can’t read this anymore. All those random political “intrigues” are nonsensical and really hard to justify. Same goes for how mc and other nobles respond to them. And so far that was the only way for the story to progress so it’s hard to swallow.

Olivia using her powers on the ship didn’t stay in anyone memory it seems, while the dangerous troublemaker suddenly getting acknowledged as a saint didn’t seem unnatural.
I mean with how she seduced the main noble kids, I would have immediately been worried of the temple pushing forward a fake saint to seize the power in the court.

The MC upping his rank and saving everyone but somewhat getting more hate by the day. Not one noble trying to curry favor with the “hero” but instead trying brin harm to him, who doesn’t seem to have any support from the kingdom.
The ducal house losing influence out of nowhere. Even if not engaged anymore the prince was clearly in the wrong and they still are the most high ranking nobles. It should have been the royal family making any effort possible to not lose their loyalty..

Well there are so many other things i don’t understand how it is possible to write so many political schemes/intrigues that go in a single painfully unnatural direction.
I tried to hope than one way or another the flow of events would regain a course that’s somewhat bearable but I can’t anymore.
