Why can’t someone just say screaming out Loud nobles are the worst pieces of trash you can ever have an existence and they should all die because they’re nothing but cowards in their own little world. Someone needs to just say that out loud and burn the school down while there at it.

I assume this is supposed to be a touching moment. However, imagine if the roles were reversed — a boy yelling and beating up a girl every day in front of an entire school so she wouldn’t leave him. I’ve been around abusive people. Giving in to them or pretending they’re doing it out of some vague notion of “goodness” only further enables that errant behavior.

I feel like people are ignoring the fact that lack of reason exists for people in the real world as well. If all people could act totally reasonable, any universally morally wrong actions people commit could never be wrong if they are reasonable. If there were no unreasonable (in some form) people in literature, then character development and villains would never exist, as everyone would be right. Then you’d be left with no story to tell. Not to mention these are children, who by nature are immature. Sure, the girl may have made some unreasonable decisions, but that is life. So many relationships will go down the drain if you abandon someone from one mistake or fixate on someone’s flaws alone. The key is moving forward by learning from those mistakes.
