Glad I chose to check back in today, three chapters over the last couple days is a blessing I didn’t see coming. Shoud’ve known it was an act on Amako’s part, there’s no way she would’ve given up so easily after seeing Usato defy or redefine her visions multiple times before. Guess it just remains to be seen how it’ll go down, especially given Jinya’s limited foresight from the previous batch of experiments.
Glad to see Nea getting more of the spotlight, her abilities may be of a somewhat unsavory type but they can be pretty damn useful if properly handled (plus her beastfolk disguise is pretty damn cute, it’s a good look for her). Also wonder how Rinka’s gonna fit into all this, I know her father’s gonna be key thanks to his position and influence within the village, but I can’t see her being able to do much other than provide some scouting or emotional appeals if Jinya decided to deceive the general public of the village.
He really takes offense to everything now.

I literally just skipped three chapters. Nothing worth reading. You know how it all goes. Captured talked fake the whole 9 yards just for the guy not to get killed at the end
