i bet when he uses the “healing cannon” on the demon or enemy in front of every one they would react the same as Rinka and rose would be so proud of him as well because who else would think of using healing magic in this way?

Usato YOU are the only who think himself as human all people around you understand perfectly that you are personification of brutality and Nemesis of common sense

People forgot that our MC is trained by the OGRE lady. So technically Usato is the OGRE.
I think Usato would be able to do the rescue and the diversion parts on his own x)
The mutual love and trust between Amako and Usato is completely unshakable.
Usato getting seen as a terrifying monster and getting upset about it never gets old.
Glad to see the releases picking up steam again, even if it is because it was all done in advance. Hell of a burden to bear on Amako’s part, knowing her mother essentially sacrificed herself so she could flee and live a comparatively good life. Screw you and everything you stand for Jinya, past grudges are no excuse to treat your own people as expendable pawns, powers or not. Also good to see that she and Nea still share a close bond despite all their bickering over Usato and other matters, when push comes to shove they can button down and make one hell of a team.
Guess he’s got yet another weapon in his arsenal, and a pretty damn potent one at that, Cannon’s an apt descriptor for it. Rinka’s pretty well justified in being terrified, I sure as hell wouldn’t want to be anywhere near that blast, healing magic or not. Kinda hard to argue you’re still equivalent to just a human when you’re able to combine muscle and raw magic into a frigging artillery blast Usato.
Guess Amako’s foresight showed either a confrontation between Usato and the demon commanders (the bestial portions looked kinda like the armor Fell uses), or an evolved/mutated version of Jinya after using the Towa. Or maybe there’s some third party or ability that hasn’t been discussed yet. In any case, looks like the next couple chapters are gonna get pretty hectic. Pleasure reading alongside y’all as always, hope life’s treating you well. See y’all again next chapter or elsewhere on-site.
They keep saying they have to fight because Amako is captured, and I’m sympathetic to why many of them would want to rescue her. But the real reason they need to fight is to avoid being on the front lines of another demon-human war, and to retain their hard-won autonomy. Honestly, they should also refuse to help the humans and remain neutral.
