Why is his death unexpected? Why is he special? He died by orginised crime. You mean they do regression every time this happens? Thats sound like alot of paperwork:p And how would regression be of “little help”? you have information on the future! Even if you were in a Dragonball universe that would be OP. And lastly: Justice = America? You kidding right?

This is really interesting wording. He says the NIS is to protect the “president”, but that doesn’t specify which president. Considering the state of Korea, and how the government and Samsung are tightly tied together, this novel seems to be a critique of such megacorporations?
Or maybe I’ve been in English class for too long and I’ve started assuming everything has a deeper meaning like some delusional English major

let’s be honest: it is not that great. Tons of botched trials, tons of corruption.
It’s not exactly America’s fault alone – any society will have corruption and power abuse – but America does somewhat enable a lot of it through a variety of social, legal, political, and economic factors.
