I’m not sure what he was explaining during the lecture about water. I’m guessing normally you convert mana into the particles that make up water, then there’s 2 more conversions that are inefficient to try to combine them into water. But since MC knows the chemical makeup of water he doesn’t need the latter conversions and can just combine them during the initial conversion. This is just my assumption
