Honestly, Sihan not coming back could be the best for everyone.
It looks like she’s 1 of those 3 who decided to keep him alive and she mentioning about marriage was an indirect proposal. Since he proposed to another girl she didn’t cared about anything and sided with them. It’s not like she hated him, she might have felt betrayed.

Sad but… you lost the opportunity, if you had told him, I think you would have lightened the burden, better to say it than to keep quiet they say.
Also why did you betray a person you love? just because you were jealous… That, if you ask me, is not loving someone. You just let go and move on
considering how religious she is I think sending her to a dimensional gate without her magic or her powers would be a better punishment for her
So it was just jealousy. I was half right, she ended up killing/sacrificing herself to add some drama, but it’s even more meaningless than what I envisioned.
- She could have just acknowledged she was jealous at the time and wanted to get rid of him to end the suffering
- She could have told him from when they met (she was apparently expecting him) she was in love and somehow work through this
- She could have played the kids card (who will take care of them now ?)
- She could have offered to train Alita
So many wasted possibilities. I’m getting annoyed at this series.
