I don’t think he’s jealous, at least not to the point where he wouldn’t let his disciple grow. He’s already had two disciples, (that we know) both of them growing stronger than himself. I can also see he has the sword in a birdcage medal, does that mean he can finally stay stable?

theory i think leon would just miss him. i mean gato did say hes like a son to him, and the other girl apprentice also left, so leon would be alone if zechs leaves.
