She’s saying that if he had married the princess, none of this would have happened—of course. But if she hadn’t shown up here in the first place, she really doesn’t belong; that would solve the issue as well. I’m not saying she should stay locked away in her castle for the rest of her life, but she’s obviously too naive and not experienced enough for a situation like this just yet. She needs to grow more.
