This chapter was just about to upset me but the ending saved it.
started horribly with that question “can I go outside”
what do you mean? You’re the lady of the land and you have to ask to travel your territory?
then the accepting the over indulgence and being reduced to a secs doll who is just looked up in a room f’n everyday.
I’m not pretending, if I had a wife like that and she was that proactive, I’d take it but she not doing it from a healthy state of mind, she actually believes and accepts that’s all she’s good for and that is not attractive, at least for me, it’s actually kills all interest.

Riftian can’t really be happy seeing her give up everything just to laze around in their room waiting to have sex everyday right? 

Glad she confronts him for the truth at the end of the chapter at least.
The King is also asking for a rebellion.
When Riftian is the aggressor and declares war, the king sends his daughter to demand he restrain himself but when the count is openly plotting and buying off other nobles to attack Riftian and have him stripped of his title and punished, the same king responds with inaction.
