It’s like the author wrote the MC in such a way as to make the reader hate him. Why, I don’t know, but if I had literally anything else to do and wasn’t already mentally ready to just binge some manga I’d probably have given up on this chapter. What a strange and terrible decision, hopefully he gets some character development extremely quickly.
