If you can handle an mc that isn’t confident in himself and actually has character growth, this is good.
really nice, compared to todays mangas, it’s a solid 9 since if you take a look and compared it really good you could see why i rated it, this high (A VETERAN MANGA READER)
I’m sorry, but, from the first panel I already wanted to drop this, and following after the next panel it shows the MC is wimpy. Combination of wimpy and fuhihi smirk is a typical creepy character, a typical Japanese character that needs help mentality. And following after that, the kicked from party trope. Ah, no thanks, it’s hard to read. Seems like manga can’t write anything other than toxic tropes.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the final boss for this series is a manifestation of his self doubt. Don’t know if there is a more powerful (and infuriating to read) force on this planet 🤣
Very good expelling the best party member story. Worth a read if into that style since the art and translation are rather top notch.
The only bad side: chapters are super spliced so each one feels super short. Each one is cut into 3 which can be rather annoying.
It stalls quick, the “fired from party” trope isn’t a good starting point, unless the story twists like 14 times in the first 14 chapters the story has no where to go. The easiest problem to spot is how character development is extremely linear, the wimpy Mc will slowly over 2065 chapters become confident and get with hot women, the side characters will all open up to Mc and if the story is spicy it may kill a character to include a rage scene from Mc followed by a depressed arc. The second problem is the realism of the story is extremely thrown off, hear me out the reason why we as humans enjoy the underdog story is because we see the trials the character goes through in mental, physical, and social factors. The problem is that in most cases to increase one to the pinnacle the others must follow to some degree. Take money which is a social factor to earn a lot of it through proper means you must be social and charismatic but also be mentally strong and confident for the hard times companies have to face. That’s why people respect them cus they suffered and more importantly GREW front they’re experiences, it’s the same reason we don’t respect people with silver spoons cus they didn’t work for what they have and thus they’re other stats don’t reflect a successful person. So when a character comes along with op abilities and none of the leadership skills, social ability, intellect or purpose it just makes them seem like a lucky bastard and even when they are portrayed to be hard workers it’s always strange to accept and runs into the Naruto problem where there audience is unsure wheather kurama or Naruto is doing the heavy lifting. This story runs into all of these problems and makes the Mc feel off. For that reason I would skip this one and most of it in the genre until better premises are made, the art is great but the story and characters along with the pacing kills it. Try it as a time killer wouldn’t got out of my way for it 5/10
