the big difference is that mc has honor to face others alone, because he wants to test his own skills even if it means risking his own life. At first he wanted to callenge the yasiokawhatever leader for that purpose, and he didnt go there to kill them. It’s just unfortunate that they were arogant and attacked him, then were so weak that they died to a wooden sword.

Those 70 that died didn’t have the die if they actually listened to their teacher. Their fault they’re dead, not musashi’s.
