Why the hell did this guy not say something like “hot bar”, its not super crazy nor will he get exploited for it, its also the truth seeing that it is his ability and proveable. This lie was useless and attack prediction doesn’t even make sense since it can be debunked with some testing

Unnecessarily worry about what other think. Its is an illness. You can’t build a genuine relationship with this illness. You cant trust people and trust is two ways street, you’re untrustworthy.
His hiding his traits is just because the plot says so not because it makes sense
