“Give her to me” as a slave? A tool for something sinister?… Use the right words or nobody will understand you “please, I ask for your daughter’s hand in marriage”… be polite and straight forward. Every father would like a son-in-law, who knows how to do things properly… instead of a guy who although done a lot, just comes up to him and says “give your daughter to me”.
Maybe I’m just getting too old for wanting too see that in a manga… :-/
It has been ongoing for a while but the wholesome story has more or less ended and now they look for any excuse to sexualize the female lead.
Hope the regular scanlator doesn’t decide to skip this chapter, because that last line sounded very brash for Allen’s personality. 
Either this translation screwed up, or recent experience has changed the MC’s nature.
