I wonder why japanese writers tend to to be so submissive. No wonder so many Otaku’s have that Masochistic side.
This manga is all over the place, but it surprisingly doesn’t ruin the story. I think the wild shifts in plot and tone are the reason I keep thinking, “oh, it was a bit of a mess, but now it’s getting better”. In short, it stays entertaining while it wanders, and the plot feels more cohesive from chapter 20 or so.
I’d recommend it to anybody who likes either romance or standard shonen “I worked hard and it paid off” stories.
FFS! Just finished chapter 26 and what can I say besides the last 4 chapters ….. well I’ll leave it at that. But seriously this started to feel like a spin off from the manga mentioned before BUT you should have kept going as your own instead of trying to follow that other manga! I mean every time you left the script, it turned into a bloody good read but as soon as you went back on the track, you chugged and floundered. Also, I usually love seeing some good fap/nude draws but yeesh. Btw what the hell is with the constant feeling of parents x sons/daughters vibe? Again and again and again, even as a joke that’s not good dude.
hope this is not a harem crap
There’s some _real_ weird stuff going on in this manga, but overall it’s kind of amazing.
10/10
It’s pretty clearly in the same vein as otome is tough for mobs, but it’s a very good read. Both are very similar but their authors are very good at character writing and can draw you in. Although I have to say Otome is tough for mobs is better because the author is focused on a specific goal. Sorry dude below me (Retired Huang Teizan), you and I kinda have the same opinion. I give you an upvote.

Minor plot spoilers below.
I am baffled at how this author has absolutely no f*cking idea how he wants to direct this manga. At one moment, the mc is worried about the otome aspects that he has been reincarnated into, the next he’s acting as Cupid for some wyverns, and then he channels his inner American by shooting up mobs for 10 chapters straight. Within the ridiculous plot development, the pacing in this manga is all over the place as there’s initially this slow and huge emphasis on developing the characters by not diving into the otome aspect right away, but then once the otome high school season comes, it skips all over the place with minor time skips. With that being said, this shouldn’t work, but it does due to the deceivingly deep characters.
Admittedly, I thought the characters in this manga were one-dimensional with no room for development; however, no matter how weird some of them are, they all evolve further from their set archetype and are surprisingly developed/established with their limited amount of screen time (Chapter 19 adds such a needed introduction and depth to the characters).
This manga may seem eerily similar to other mangas of its genre/trope, but it adds a unique enough twist by being darker and more ambitious with its character direction that it overcomes that negative disposition. Though the introductory chapters may seem out of place and boring, it becomes essential for the development of the main character, causing the manga to be some unrestricted fun.
PS: Oh, I forgot to mention that despite mimicking a slow life manga, the world-building sucks absolute donkey @ss.

author loves drawing naked little boys and has a fascination with russian artillary, classic social reject behavior.

There was a similar manga where the MC has no presence and almost invisible to his timemate. One day a dungeon open in his garage and then he became op.
It’s alright, it takes a long time to get to the otome aspect of the story, which wouldn’t be a problem if the chapters didn’t take months to update. The start feels incredibly isekai-like, so if you want the otome part, your better off either waiting or just reading the novel
The web novel for this went all the way til the end which is somewhat uncommon for a published manga. I enjoyed the story, but not enough for it be one of my favorites for the year it came out. The web novel surprised me a bit by being a bit more violent and sexual for the genre of story that it was from.
I would guess that they’ll tone it down or eliminate those parts for the manga.
Izhmash is now called the Kalashnikov Concern and is proudly heavily involved in supplying weapons to the Russian Army. There is Kalashnikov Factory in my city which makes tanks and off road transport equipment!
Bruh it’s good but the updates man whyyy
Pretty decent manga. I like the fact that the MC is not op and uses his brain to slowly enforce himself through years to prepare for showdown. MC is smart and start from downstairs but does not give up and work a lot to change things. A bit of realist (from fantasy pov) is so refreshing.
