L World building.
a) The Wyvern side-quest is just silly and out of place.
b) Given what alchemy skill can do, it makes no sense that it was this cheap (implying, that it’s relatively common) and that the world isn’t an utopia given that an alchemist can create housing out of thin air.

So this is obviously building to him saving the Villainess and she will probably fall in love or something, but wouldn’t it be really funny if everything he has done created a butterfly affect and the whole situation is completely different so she wouldn’t need to be saved anymore making all his work pointless
