Okay, the “Rudder” is the moveable surface on the trailing edge of the verticle stabilizer. This controls the YAW (side to side on a flat horizontal plane.) The smaller wing at the back on top of the vertical stabilizer is the Horizontal Stabilizer. the moveable surface on this is called the Elevator, and this controls the Pitch of the plane-(raises and lowers the nose to go ascend or descend). On the main wings, the moveable panels on the trailing edges are the ailerons. these control the roll or bank of the aircraft, assisting in the turn, in co-ordination with the elevator and rudder. Also on the main wing, inboard towards the fuselage, would be the flaps, located on the trailing edge as well, which both increase lift AND can allow the aircraft to descend at a greater angle of descent, slower. (just remember to keep the throttle on, and stay above stall speed.) Otherwise, the stall and subsequent crash will be rather bad.

Although planes ARE cool, why not start with a motorized carriage as a first high-speed transport? Can be used for moving goods (and friends) around faster than horses and more versatile. Not to mention you probably don’t need a parachute as long as you stay away from cliffs. Besides, I think the otome game name referenced racing, that should be easier to be made less noticeable in this world if they have a racing culture.

So, now thec wants to build a plane instead of protecting the villaness? What are we doing rn? I do understand the need for getting the scroll, but the mc’s drive suddenly changed to aeronautical engineering now?
And also why go this far just for a plane when bro can literally build a hot air balloon with a propeller. Or something like an airship?
