Annoying that they absolve Dark Elf of all responsibility because she’s a cute female. Magic charm or not, villain’s allure didn’t remove her free will; and she consciously chose to do horrible things in hopes of winning villain’s affections. Her story is sad, but her crimes are her own, unless you don’t consider women to be people, which is what I suspect is the author’s issue.
