So far I don’t see the value-add of having the MC being a “reincarnate” into this world as opposed to someone who was just born here, seeing as he seems to be just a regular guy who had to grow up in that world anyway (as opposed to getting “dropped” into the world in his teens or adult years)
btw I’m not a big fan of his character design, it’s like they’ve put on heavy stubble makeup on an edgy eyeliner-wearing high-schooler’s face to give him a “grittier” look
