Damn I loved the way they did this in the novel. This felt a bit too plot-armored.
In the novel he kills the soldiers near his battalion bodies, wears their armor and pretends to be an ally who was heavily injured. The healer from the 3 heroes heals him to a decent state, and after being healed he gets his mask and weapons from their armory and goes ham on all their supplies and weapons. Then he finally reaches the command (as shown here). Even in the novel his mana supply seemed endless, but in this chapter it seemed like he could solo the entire enemy army without caring for mana?..

I love how the general dude saw MC’s flames and in 0.000001 second sets his mind to capitalize on it to win the war

Walm now knows…that letting her go…was a costly mistake…one that he will not repeat.
