Man, war is pretty shit. Both sides feel the loss. Seeing how there has shown to be guilds and Adventures then there is bond to be monsters and dungeons with loot. So it’s not all just war war war.
This would make one hell of a bannerlord mod, or even better a separate game.

Always frustrates me when people attack others but feel like they are the victims when something happens as a consequence of their actions.
I do believe this mc is sadistic but not in the full sense of the word. he has killed many but there is obvious remorse. with the little scene after the bar where he calls himself a murderer. he does what he does to survive but sometimes in the heat of the moment some personal gratitude. at some point, he has and will obviously feel bad because he was not brought into this world naturally. the art depicts the bloody battles and the scared nature of those who in another manhwa would be the mcs (the adventurers with powers). it’s just a great story even though I’m two chapters into it.
