I like the general premise of this story but it feels like its skipping and not explaining too many things. Examples: MC mentioned the slave is a “piebald”, what is a piebald? Some lind of fantasy race in this world I assume, but we have 0 info on this so far. If shes to be used as bait by running, and he says he doesn’t want to get her killed if he can, why has he not at least gotten her shoes or something? MC clearly has a lot of gold, but he can only carry so much. What happened to the mountain of treasures from the dungeon? Its shown that theres no game like menu system or inventory, so its odd just glossing over a major detail like that when he’s consistently shown to be spending a lot of gold all while travelling all over the place.
Also, two heroes dying around him could be chalked up to concidence, but by the third clearly he is part of the problem, its strange to see MC not at least acknowledge this.
Story telling from a super lazy person.
Idk what to expect anymore.
Does he ever get better at any of them and level or does he just continuously grab a new weapon skill

I hate great swords, prefer halberds, if I have to go heavy. Tho DS3 had a great sword that have the running spear charge attack, it was alright.
