I don’t know if there’s ever going to be a harem in this story or not, but I hope this arc isn’t setting up the evil princess to join it if it’s going to be a thing.
Also, I’m betting this travel into the past will grant more insight into why the humans discriminate against the demihumans. My guess is there’s actually a Demon Lord and they’d turned all the humanity races against themselves to make them easier to wipe out.
