Sympathetic villains are hard on me. If your whole family was executed and you were looked down on, hated, because of your magical gift…you’d probably want to tear it all down too. The Tower even reinforced her status as a tool to be used and discarded.
The Celestials must be destroyed but this society is due for a French stye revolution after.

Getting a bit more lore on everyone, and seeing how those in the Darkness wanting to tear everything down are just weak-willed fools.

I never gave thought to puppet magic being viewed as evil.
the excellent (and funny) Easygoing Territorial Defense his fiancée also had puppet magic, and she was shunned even by her own mother. But the MC there allowed her to show case her gift (on objects not people) and she saved their town and another city with it. But fear is most people’s response and it takes an Isekeid protagonist to think outside that box.
