Ugh, this one stressed me out; my art teacher in college used a similar rating system, and this took me right back there. Only she’d briefly go over the good sketches, and then spend half the critique dressing down the bad ones.

The art school teaching system is garbage. They are very elitist and anything they don’t like, and not because it’s poorly done, they will leave it aside and verbally destroy it later just because they don’t like it.
It will surely be the case in this chapter, it is really not worth going to those schools, almost all of them are elitist. Better you learn on your own at home or look for another more humble place.
I’m not saying that criticism isn’t necessary, but the teachers there give you the treatment of: winner / the one in the middle doesn’t matter, completely ignored / and the last ones to verbally destroy them
