Art is all subjective and more so the opinions of an art teacher. Art that one teacher hates another will love. I like how the teacher praises him for having done everything right and very well. The only stickler of criticism is her own personal taste and she also heavily leaned into it as well which made him feel like all his efforts were completely useless despite that.
