Gotta say, its very thoughtful of the second party (writer girl) to not try to make her have a hard time because of having to juggle his debt with possible her own. That said, most times that just is unnecessary worry, and all you have to do is not be obsure and just be upfront and inform her of it, and she would mostlikey help.

Wouldn’t she understand the most that he wouldn’t be lying about his hospitalized mother? That’s a bit odd the author made her suspicious about that

I know that feeling… but if you uphold to what you truly feel. I bet your partner to be will understand (even if they don’t share the same ethnicity as yours) everything. Especially when they already knew what’s happening/matter. I mean, IRL it’s just a hit or miss when dating someone. Because, you will never know what kind of person they actually are. Even if you say that you’ve already dated them for 50 years or even reached to marry them for 100 years.
Anyway, back to the series. I’m still curious to what his father’s book/diary has to offer. Especially when we know that he has that power of his.
