Jeeeeez. He basically spent whole of last and this chapter thinking: im getting executed in 8 years, blah blah blah, im getting executed in 8 years, blah blah blah, im getting executed in 8 years…..
i forgot, what happens in 8 years again?
Why would there be a cat with how cruel this MC was? Wouldn’t Larsen have tortured it to death? And this MC is still only thinking of himself instead of trying to atone to those he’s beat and tortured.
I hope it gets better, but I feel like the story is not moving forward. I mean, he did almost nothing in 2 chapters but the same exposition monologues.

If the MC is so strong then why didn’t he make the antagonist even stronger or atleast of similar strength?

The most annoying thing about MCs is when they’re paused in thought for a minute straight while in a conversation with someone. So awkward
