King and Duke are two different ranks. Basically King is first place and Duke is second Place. I am assuming Duke is the King’s name then?

I thought after knight serf would be next then commoner and then slave, usually serf’s always serving the knight along the squire, to put it simple it is the inferior version of squire, also serf’s prepares all heavy lifting while squires help the knight it’s duties like a secretary
