It’s really refreshing to see the MC return to an actually well functioning and supportive party so soon after the “kicked out” trope. Lends credence to the comments that it’s there only to fulfill some sort of a quota.
The MC is obsessed with efficacy and efficiency. If he can achieve the same result with less time and mana costs, even if it doesn’t seems as grandiose, he will do that.
