this is unimaginably peak. however do yourself a favor and read it on asurascans, im on chapter 85 and the translation on this site has been HORRID all the way through but this is so peak that the writing is beautiful even when its mostly wrong

its does fair for its name, absolute yap regression. Personally, I liked it because it’s a break from other cliche manhwas. If you like strategy with little fights, this is great. But in my eyes, this is goated.

This is a masterpiece in the murim genre. Probably the best I have ever read. Though, it is not action heavy (which is part of what makes great imo). But if you want a lot of action I would check something else out.

After 99 chapters and having read the novel to it’s end, (it finished this week after 896 chapters), I can honestly say that this story does not disappoint. It’s pure joy, as it explore a man set on making people around him happy in the violent world of Murim. And in meeting him people and Murim itself changes. Of course, it takes time, and as such this story silently and slowly develops without ever getting boring and always being interesting, also in the unspoken words and the silences. One of the best things ever made into a Manhhwa, this one will live on and become a classic in the world of graphic novels.

I have been seeing this but didn’t feel anything special but decided to pick it up after going through some comments.
If you’re also asking if this will be a good read, just see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a story based on what must have been written down initially. Because the characters actually represent humans instead of mere plot devices. This is a high quality work unlike 95% of the stories here.
If you’re looking for something of similarly high quality, I would recommend “A Regressor’s Tale of Cultivation” – isn’t as well “put down” into art as this, but also seems to have a sublime written source.

A looooot of read, but surprisingly interesting! If you are looking for exchanging punch and sword each chapter like Nano Machine, Nah this is not.
This is not typical Martial Art manhwa with bloody revenge and desire to puch all of enemies and slaughtered them all, this one focusing on character interactions with mischief and wisdom especially in his faction roots, MC martial skill also progressing step by step. And MC waifu candidate design also cool (not every waifu need slim beauty and dazzling), what a fresh take
To put cherry on the top, Action also drawn so good, battle with ‘illusion elder’ so dope

This manhwa isn’t without issues, mainly, author clearly wanted to write about virtuous heroes, loyal comrades and family ties, but he also wanted to set the story in the demonic cult. Strange.
But when you ignore that, it’s great, it’s a very slow, very psychological and inter-personally dramatic story.
