Summary
A brief description of the manhwa Absolute Regression:
“Please send me back to the past.” He just needs to travel back in time if he is unable to murder that individual in the present. The man traveled back in time to the past he so much wanted by using the “Great Regression Technique.” This “Unrivaled Swordsman” had lost his life, his family, and everything. This is how he is starting to exact his revenge.

MC is so handsome. I mean both the old version and the young version. Besides, I like both his faces and his actions. The emotion is really good too.
The plot is ordinary regression, but it’s not bad. MC did move accroding to his past knowledge, but he wasn’t heavily relying on that. Although, he did rely heavily on his power and battle experience gained from past life. At first, I wasn’t so comforatable seeing MC killing people so easily like he was actually in his 20s which someone rarely considered the consequences. However, MC did say he wanted to live by his own will, and he would kill people who should die while saving people who should live. Therefore, his action seemed to be reasonable. Besides, MC killing bad people without hesitation is cool.
Worth reading for real.
10/10
It’s preddy gud, 10/10
Well here goes my humble opinion as of chapter 11. The story and MC are so far, great.
The art is fire too. This is a regression story, but doesn’t follow the normal path of the MC ” get gud because knows past” most of the advantage he has is lifelong experience. No MC characters are pretty good also.
Totally recommended. Have a good one fellow readers
Imma marinade this series for along time
Park Jin-Hwan draws
I read 🧟♂️🤖
Should I read it
So far…
Story: Great
Art: Great
Characters: Great
Does follow classic regression trope, but in a fairly unique way, and MC isn’t fully focused on just getting stronger.
9/10
I’m not gonna do a full review cause it lacks chapters, but honestly the 6 first chapters give out a really good impression to me.
Sure the trope used is pretty generic, but the execution is pretty unique.
The art looks sick as hell and, the characters presented ( for now) look interesting. I would suggest you to give it a try, but maybe wait until there are more chapters. (20-ish chapters at least.)
i’ll do another review to rate it when more chapters are out. Ok bye, have a nice day/night/evening.
Six chapters in, and this Great.
ULTRA TIER LEVEL
ART
EXECUTION
PACING
BUT – PLOT- NOT NEW.
You know me ultra tier rating is rare rating for me
mid generic regression story hard carried by the beautiful art, family got killed in a catastrophic event, get mad, wants revenge, do a regression, try to get strong in this second life to prevent that event.
it is so generic that you could predict he just gonna take some kind of “secret” elixir that people discovered in the future to boost his strength later.
How to know if the manwha you’re about to read is peak, follow these rules:
- Title has to be direct and concise
- there can’t be no female characters on the cover
- No romance tag
- The cover is glowy
- No female mc
If it breaks more than one of these rules then the manwha will be mid. Look through your bookmarks and you’ll find this true with few exceptions. Following these rules, I believe this manwha will peak
This manhwa will def become famous once it reached chapter 50
In my eyes this truly has the potential to be a 10/10 Manhwa, as of the 17 Chapters I’ve read. Art is amazing, the characters are interesting and I’m looking forward to them getting their backgrounds fleshed out. MC is strong and knowledgeable but not extremely OP. He knows his limits.
Each chapter feels like a metaphoric breath of that cold fresh morning air, if you know what I’m talking about. The talks between MC and his father really feel genuine and meaningful, it’s hard to describe in words the emotion but I love it.
