Real easy to forget that the MC is like in his 80s now.
And everything he is doing now (and will be doing) is to create alliances and build up/preserve the power of the Cult before the main antagonist shows up. And the main antagonist must be epic indeed since he easily defeated the Heavenly Demon/MCs father, who is quite the genius and wielding like the best known martial arts.
i am so happy with how well this story is living up
