I was pleasantly surprised that the MC understood that sometimes sacrifices are necessary, but that this guy isn’t a valid return on investment.

So the weakest lasted the longest, meaning hes a traitor and his price was probably the hearts of the other demon lords to increase his power but didnt believe the murim alliance would kill him or be able to and died to them when he exceeded his usefulness
Seriously, each time they converse I am always reminded of my own dad. Weirdly sweet, old-fashioned Asian-style dad who is quite busy and distant, but always willing to see eye to eye with his kids and support their decisions.
This MC is something else. All the “truce” we see in other series can be so frustrating. But this MC swings around every ounce of strenght, logic and influence to stay true to his path. God i love this. So refreshing.

Bold of him to say he will just get his father to do it. Also kind of a dick move to just not do it himself and instead just pester his dad everyday until he does it.
