This is why it’s stupid to make the MC crazy OP. It never makes any sense at all for him to do anything but go kill the bad guy, which should happen in one shot if any of the stuff from previous chapters is still true. It sucks all of the tension out of the story, and the author has to violate his own established canon to pretend that the MC is facing any kind of a threat.
