I didn’t like the anime so I avoided reading this but I have nothing better to read so I’ll give it a try.

the light novel only goes to chapter 341… and seems to have been dropped? So I guess there isn’t much left to be released… (Chapter 295ish in LN is chapter 52.4)

This is getting an anime adaptation but I wish the other one was. This falls into many of the classic cliches/tropes whereas the other falls into a small amount and has a good storyline (imo).

the reason this isn’t so good is the same why the prequel is so much better ..
his previous life just seems so much more interesting.
also .. only my opinion .. but it is really a turn-off if the “ultra op mc from the past reincarnating with even more benefits”:tm: just ends up not soloing .. like .. come on how on earth are his team mates anything but poitively counterproductive?
its also especialy odd how the story showcases the benefits of the 1st crest in the beginning (the whole item-crafting thingy) yet fails to show him become unreasonably strong with the help of his now 4th crest .. (i discount his casting skills and spellknowledge .. because he would have had that with the 1st crest just aswell)
so about chap 1 to 30 i felt like he got a downgrade in his crest .. and it realy doesn’t help how the story portaits it..
