The problem with outside furniture is that they get dirty from debris and rain (wet,moss,mold). Same will happen to his hammock, not to mention bird droppings.
Also if they are on actual trees, they become ant paths (my uncle had one).

Nah. That’s not how you construct a hammock. You need bars at the ends, or all you have is a self sealing bag.
People have died in such constructions as they were unable to get out again.
