Honestly i don’t see the similarity between their eyes nor do I understand why previous kohai was so excited when “his eye were dead when he worked”. I also feel a lot of mangaka have this picture of delicious food in their head but don’t realize how hard it is to portray food in Black and White pictures as something delicious. And fail to convey.
