I mean, the comedy changed throughout the series.
At first, it was hillarious, UI!
Then the comedy went a lil over the top and felt a bit forced.
And now it is more subtle and derpy, whereas it stayed true to its running-gags.
But what I really like about this ain’t comedy.
It is the realistic turn of events (apart from MC’s plot armor /karmic MC fullfillment of being the center of the universe) and the way the makers depict characters.
As far as I see it:
Everyone has a solid base-line of characteristics including facets of conveniences and spites.
(“Side-“)characters developing or reacting with eachother according or despite said conveniences really brings character depth to the series.
Ok… Reviewing as of Chapter 53. This is a story about a guy who was isekaied into an otome dating game, which is one of my current favorite genre’s. But… This story is ridiculous. I don’t know how to describe it in simpler terms. I think the author wants it to be a comedy, and it definitely had some moments that I chuckled at, but it is not HA HA funny like The World’s Best Engineer, moreso, it’s just… ludicrous.
It is something I would read again… Yes, but I would skip past chapters 25 – 35. I don’t care about side character development. The MC is basically plot armored to always get the best outcome. But I don’t necessarily hate that.
Mis in some tsundere’s that don’t fully tsundere, with a sprinkling of weird story arcs, and its like watching a car wreck. You don’t really like what your seeing but you can’t look away.

This is the prefect mid tar manga. Not bad, not great, I did enjoy it. So where’s the rest of it, did it get nuked?
