The irony of talking about Dazai NOT treating people as worthless is just hilarious. That’s his specialty.
If Akutagawa had tried to disobey Dazai the way this girl did, he’d be dead. Despite his harsh words, he actually keeps giving this girl chances and trying to persuade her.
