This whole quick acceptance of Kyouka feels pretty hypocritical. Wasn’t the entire team previously saying how they were going to write Astushi off when he was kidnapped? “That’s his own trouble why should we help” Everyone went along with that. It’s only because the president intervened that they did anything.
Now they’re all happily accepting Kyouka…until her own problems catch up with her right? And let’s be clear: she’s no different than any recruit into the mafia who is told “kill or die” (or return to hellish living conditions). She could’ve risked death by running, ditching the phone etc., but she obeyed and answered the phone.
….btw: why didn’t she stop her phone from taking calls, and use the microphone app to record and replay her own voice, so she could use her own ability?
