That was just stupid. All they had to do to nullify an illusion ability was HOLD ON TO HIM. Is nobody thinking??
Also, I’m really really sceptical that a close-quarters shot from a gun to the head was SLOWER than using Doppo poet and cutting his own bonds with a switchblade. I mean, what the f*ck, honestly?
And the author seems to have forgotten how easily that old guy can burst through locked doors. But sure, make the entire mafia totally incompetent.
The author is using their Deus Ex Machina ability, huh?
