Good eye identifying the constellations. I was never able to. For me the night sky has/had more resemblance with a white noise TV image.
And yes, I did it properly outside light pollution. With a teacher explaining it and showing it.
I wouldn’t have been able to see any constellation if my life depend on it.
Ohhh nice reference to the Verdun city! Verdun is located in France tho.
Bye the way Verdun is also the name of one of the great battles France fought against Germany.

Why is the bad guy even a threat. He disgraced himself and his family through lies . Murdered some red shirts and tried to murder his rival and son.
If not put to death he should be locked up without means to become threat.

soooo this is like a multiverse a world LIKE ours but not if you think about it its not crazy so far no magic or things that cant be real
we had birds that were that big just not at the same time as us being alive
I loved the bit about the map, it makes the story more interesting than it already was
