I can’t go over chapter 15 because of overused cliches in academy arc…lack of action, heavy dialogue, and copy-paste cliche childish characters…boring

the more i read it, the more generic it got. I liked the unique premise with the world. but holy, does it became generic after he enters the academy. Tsundere girl with an inferiority complex and salso happens go wander alone on the streets by herself and gets kidnapped. A bully who looks like the antagonist. I kinda wished there no academy plots in stories because it adds unnecessary tropes into it. I came here for the title and wanna see the build up for it
Interesting manga with a lot of potential! Intelligent mc, great artwork, decent worldbuilding, unique plot & fantasy world, and the characters aren’t completely carboard cutouts. The few downsides are that new chapters aren’t released very often and yes progression is slow towards the beginning but I think it adds to the worldbuilding excellently as you can’t just speedrun life, and yes there are common tropes used.

After reading 15.5 chapters, I am rather scratching my head on this one. See, the problem is I read the summery and the comment from stealthpilot …… and all I can think was “what the hell where these two people smoking?” Okay for the problems: this manga is extremely heavy in dialogue, which makes it a very slow moving flow of a story line. Every one shouts fantasy for this manga but all I could see is that the ears are different and they ride flying giant eagles and ostriches or emus instead of horses or moose or elk or deer. The manga jumps a bit in the beginning of almost every chapter in some way so it is literally wasting frames on what happened last chapter. The only time I have seen this in a manga is when it takes 3 to 6 month per chapter. Another problem is 15 YEARS for Royal Officer Training School plus basic training? Now my main irritation. They have tried to stick fantasy into what is none other then medieval history in northern Europe, and you have already read what sort of fantasy they have done. So what you have here is a very slow moving manga which zips through events while it replays a historical European medieval time period with a drop of fantasy in it. I will book mark this with a hope against hope that something drastically changes in this manga (maybe more fantasy? maybe faster story flow to overcome all that dialogue, you certainly dis it with the conflicts), otherwise this manga will be dead before the 50th chapter.

The Mc is playing 4-D Chess with everyone and the scope of the story is promising.
