Summary
A brief description of the manhwa Magic Level 99990000 All-Attribute Great Sage:
All over the world, Monsters suddenly began appearing. The only person who could save humanity from “The Calamity” was “The Great Sage”, Ichikami Atsumu. But, despite being satisfied in his death, he was reincarnated into the body of a boy who was bullied into killing himself, Kusanagi Minato.
Atsumu, waking up in a Japan fifty years into the future, is shocked to see a peaceful world, and where magic has become far weaker compared to when he was alive. For now, Atsumu decides to go back to Kamui Magic Academy as Minato, but learns that mages are nothing more than a relic of the past, and in their place exist a class of privileged nobles
.After blowing off his bragging, low-levelled bullies, Atsumu gains the interest of a noble magician girl, Mizuha Yuika, as well as his schoolmates and teachers. What’s more, Atsumu finds a sign that the Calamity, which was supposed to have been subdued, will return––
“It looks like my power is still needed”
Within the soul of student lies the Great Sage?!
The strongest Great Sage will change this world drunk on peace. With his reincarnation in the future set, the curtain opens on a new Hero’s story!

Chunibyo-syndrome manhwa
The fact it’s slowly getting worst, and worst. It encourages me to keep on reading it, cuz it’s that bad. Lmao

6.5/10

Bookmarked? Yes.
Never in my life have I been this tripped over by reading a manga. Though I call it a manga, the author has seemingly been disowned by Japan due to the fact of the manga having the same art style as a manwha. Digressing from this, a Korean art style mixed with a typical academy reincarnation manga plot can not result in a bad read. Though it’s not bad, it’s not that good. Every cliche we know possible in a Japanese plot was used, testifying to the author’s heritage (SO WHY THE HELL DOES THIS HAVE COLOR). The main character seemed to have kept his original powers and roams around with no real purpose other than not going overboard. Along with this, the stereotypical side characters are included so there is no real connection to be formed. As a manga, it’s a pretty good time passer but that’s about it. Besides for the great amount of confusion, it’s not like the art style is a bad thing, it’s just weird seeing it with this type of plot. With as many hypothetical situations and plot holes this includes, it is near impossible to think of this as anything greater than a supplement for boredom. This review may have come off as discriminatory but I didn’t mean it in that way. It’s not that bad considering I probably like manwha art styles the best out of the three.
PS: I read the first chapter going with the flow of the art style, thinking it was a manwha, but I remembered the only reason I clicked this was to read a new manga. To this moment, I’m still confused. I can not tell you the amount of times I’ve checked if the author was Japanese.

Unless there is a Christmas miracle/curse, all scores are finalized, and I have an innate bias towards stories with snip-bits of romance.
I can’t seem to recall any other webtoons from Japan… is this the first one I seen?
Why are you rating it so high
Beginning is pretty bad even though translations and art are good. Too rushed, too stereotypical (mc is reincarnated, has no parents, gets bullied at school but suddenly shows off his powers, is strongest in the world yada yada). 4.2/5
So in 50 years (2 generations), everybody becomes weak ? i know peace and all that but c’mon, you kill the calamity, right after that your childrens grow far weaker and then again, even weaker grandchildrens ? they killed magic in 2 generations, that’s a great achievement ._.
Gonna wait for more chapters to rate this
