From the old man’s perspective he is essentially sending a stronger dark priest to hunt dark priests. But in doing so he is making the one he is backing even stronger. This seems like a poor long term strategy if the friendly one ever turns on him.

(theory) i think the cores are exp from killing the monster but since getting the skill is like “50-50 death”,”1-10 getting skill” or “you just gambled you life and got nothing”. so high society went we shouldn’t do it and made it a secret which only higher up know
