I was worried oh no he’s falling for the trap, but he might just get strong enough to just outright defeat the dragons if he can keep collecting these down gems.
Also the monthly upkeep i never thought would be too expensive since the base soldiers that he has 40 of cost him 1/8 of a lowest grade down gem per month so he is only paying around 5 down gems a month for the base soldiers and then he has 5-7 elite soldiers who are probably worth another 5 down gems a month and in total of 10 low grade down gems should be around 30 points per month as its cost.

Average male walking speed is 1.4m/s, meaning that this is saying average males run at 12.6m/s
