Are not one of these guys connected to the surface world? The monsters aren’t even that bad, their sentient and even kinda chill. Like, that drakon dragon guy could’ve totally been friends with mankind. They don’t even seem to have an instictive bloodlust to humans, They just seem to not like humans. But maybe I just didn’t read ahead enough, they probably just haven’t done much world building yet
